The federal goverment is currently holding a public consultation on its International Policy Statement or IPS for short. It presents a comprehensive framework of Canada's role in the world. It is divided in 4 subjets: Diplomay, Defense, Development and Commerce. You can also find an overview titled: "A Role of Pride and Influence in the World".

The House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade is currently holding a public online consultation on the matters and wants to know what Canadians are thinking about the policy.
